Beaux Arts Festival is this weekend

One of the best Arts Festivals of the year is coming up this weekend, the Beaux Arts Festival, now in its 64th year is Saturday and Sunday, January 17 and 18 at the Lowe Art Museum grounds at the University of Miami (1301 Stanford Drive).

The festival runs from 10 am to 5 pm both days. It's free to enter.

There are 230 artists who will be displaying their work as it winds around the shady paths, along the edge of the lake. There's music and lots of food. The Student Artists Showcase will feature 150 pieces from Miami-Dade middle and high school students.

I see some many Grovites at this event each year. It's really a great way to start off the arts festival season.

All show proceeds benefit the Lowe Art Museum.
