We went Baseling
In Wynwood, we did what's become our usual routine - stopped at the Morgan's Annex for lunch and then hit the main tents at Art Miami, Spectrum, Red Dot, Art Spot and Context to name a few. Above is our friend Monique Lassooij, at the Spectrum fair, doing some live art on the spot.
We were stopped by MaryAnn Martinez from CBS4, who shoved a microphone in our face to ask us about the stolen Picasso. When she saw our press pass, she stopped the interview and moved on, just as well, I didn't know what she was talking about until I read this later.
This thing was promoting Noise Opera and Paint Black, a couple of events going on later in the evening. We spotted them from Morgan's when we stopped back for coffee and cake.
The events are really fun and there's something for everyone. I think my favorite may have been Context because it was bright and airy, not as closed-in and the art was more fun and upbeat. But it's all really great. The people watching is a big part of the fun, too.
