Pop-up Disco took place at The Grove Spot

The Grove Spot hosted a PopUp Disco this past weekend. DJ's were spinning favorites from the disco era mixed with classic rock blocks and funk flashbacks - all music from the '60s, '70s and '80s.

The music played non-stop. This popular event pops up at different venues across South Florida.

A portion of the price goes to the Miami Herald's Wish Book.

The special part about this party is that is was on the hallowed ground of the famous Biscayne Baby, a fondly remembered Grove disco from back in the day.

This is the disco ball. Not glittery and hanging from the ceiling, but it did strobe and make special effects.
