"Lost Art of Letter Writing" at Vizcaya
Reserve your spot for the "Lost Art of Letter Writing" this Saturday, Nov 15. The event is at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens at 10 am.
James Deering detailed every decision he made about Vizcaya's construction, kept records of every purchase, he wrote letters to friends and notes to staff. From these, we know lots about the kind of man James Deering was.
With the "lost art of letter writing," they're taking some Saturday morning time to slow down, think about what it means to write a letter; talk about how it feels to receive a letter; and start reflecting about how people will know what they know about us in the future.
Vizcaya is located at 3251 S. Miami Avenue.
The cost is $25 for Vizcaya members and $30 for non-members. You may purchase tickets at eventbrite here.
