Grove to be lit up next weekend

Just a reminder that a week from now on Saturday, December 6, the Coconut Grove Christmas tree will be lit in front of CocoWalk at 6:30 pm. The tree is up now, on top of the fountain, but it was such a fun event last year that I highly recommend it this year.

Something last year that happened that really made it all so "Coconut Grovey" was that when the lights were lit, only have the tree went on! It really said a lot about our little village, in a nice way. As I drive up and down Brickell or Coral Gables or other areas, I see huge lit-up Christmas trees and wreaths that are larger than a person, but we have a smaller hometown type vibe in the Grove. I know many of you like it, many don't but the tree lighting is really a fun event that will coincide with the FAM Gallery Walk next week, so it will be a full night of events from art to music and the Drum Circle is back too at their new location at the Mayfair Promenade.
