Dan's got plans for Art Basel week
|Artists Theresa Calluori and Dan Bondroff|
Our friend Dan Bondroff is always doing some sort of art show, somewhere in the country, he's a busy guy when it comes to his art, he's very prolific, too. He'll be featuring his new work during Art Basel week. His studio is five blocks from the center of the action in the Wynwood Art District. He will be having a solo show in his studio, number 3, on the back lot of the Bakehouse Art Complex (561 NW 2 Street). The show is called "Magic Interrupted."
"Imagine an escape from everyday life. Suddenly you step into a world that is magical. You are a witness to something special. A spectator, not sure if your presence is know, you are going to see the unexpected!
My new works will be in Mixed Media and Pastel," says Dan.
The first 267 show guests will receive a free original work of art, shown here. A signed and numbered linocut announcing Art Basel Week 2014. These will be given out by Dan's assistant who will be wandering the halls inside the complex on the dates of the show openings.
The special preview opening - December 4, 9 am-noon. There will be breakfast in the Bakehouse Art Center’s lobby area. Official show night event is December 6, 7-10 pm.
The show will be open during Basel hours.
And Dan has a special on Black Friday called "Full Color Friday."
"Please do not trample your neighbors! Do not speed or get in any car accidents! Do not fight over that parking space!" he says.
Everything you need is right here. You don’t even need to wait until Friday. You can start today.
So far he has 4 originals listed at around half price with shipping included in the price. He will be adding more this week. Sale ends Dec. 3.
