Grovetoberfest is Saturday in Peacock Park

Grovetoberfest is back Saturday, October 18; this is probably the largest beer festival in South Florida. Peacock Park will be loaded with craft beer of all types and there's lots of food and music, too.

Performing live will be Robbie Elias and Anna Palmerola at Bougainvillea'S Old Florida Tavern's Live Music Stage.

Pincho Factory's Chef Nedal Ahmad's KC BBQ-inspired menu (with a Miami twist, of course) has some special treats for the Boulevard Brewing Company VIP Beer Garden this Saturday/ Get your VIP tickets at grovetoberfest.com/tickets.

On the menu:
Pulled Chiclen Tostones
Guave Riblets
Frita Chili
Brisket Croquetas
cuban Sammy Mac

And there are plenty of other vendors and food trucks around the park.

During the Grovetoberfest, starting at 1 pm, park at Coconut Grove Elementary School. Your parking fee supports much needed funding for the oldest school in Miami and is tax deductible (save that receipt). Find the parking lot on Oak Avenue between Matilda Street and Virginia Street. From the lot, it is a quick and easy walk through the gates to Peacock Park. They have a special area for visitors in need of handicapped parking. The friendly PTA volunteers will throw open the gates just before 1 pm.
