Great Streets for Coconut Grove

While so much of the streetscape is being redone in Coconut Grove, according to so many bikers, the streets are not conducive for bicycling.
Join Bike Coconut Grove in a community discussion of how to make the streets of Coconut Grove better and more livable for all of us.

Victor Dover, a nationally known advocate of new urbanism based in South Miami and the author of "Street Design: The Secret to Great Cities and Towns," will speak on the subject at "Great Streets for Coconut Grove at The Bookstore in the Grove.

Copies of Victor's book will be available at the store for signing.

Tony Garcia, a leading bicycle planner and Miami resident whose firm, the Street Plans Collaborative, developed the City of Miami Bicycle Master Plan will also be on hand.

The event is Monday, September 22 from 7 to 8 pm.

Bike Coconut Grove invites all interested members of the community to join in for a coffee/espresso hour at 6:30 pm.
