Craft Spirits Festival back for year 2

The Craft Spirits Festival is returning to Miami for its second year in October. The festival is an exhibit of orginal craft, small batch and artisanal spirts in Miami.

The week-long series of events runs from October 1 to 9 and will focus not only on celebrating and educationg the public on craft spirits, but on craft cocktails as well. Seminars, tours, parties, happy hours, cocktail dinners and industry/VIP only events are all part of the festival around Miami.

The Grand Tasting will take place on Thursday, October 9 from 7 to 11 pm at the Cruz Building on Commodore Plaza. This event will showcase 100 plus distinct spirits including whiskies, rums, vodkas, gins and other spirits and beverages. Attendees will be able to enjoy these unlimited samples plus fine inspried hors d' oeuvres by some of the best local chefs in Miami including some Coconut Grove favorites like TK's at the Villa Mayfair, La Gamba and Strada.

"We want to provide a venue for the consumer to meet and interact with distillers and ambassadors of craft, small batch and artisanal spirits; in an envirnoment conducive to quality communcation," says Eddie Delamaza, founder of Craft Spirits Festival.
