Open Call for Miami Music Project Youth Orchestra

The Miami Music Project Youth Orchestra is having open auditions on September 5 and 6.  They're looking for musicians ages 13 to 21. There are so many schools and talented musicians in Coconut Grove, this is a great group to expand your talents.

You can play alongside South Florida’s most talented young musicians. The 2014-15 season's repertoire include masterworks by Shostakovich, Mussorgsky and Prokofiev. Intensive training will be from September 30 - November 7 ending with an unforgettable concert on the Adrienne Arsht Center stage downtown called Rise of the Titans, Family Fest Concert on Saturday, November 8,  at 1:30 pm.

Positions are open for talented instrumentalists, ages 13 – 21: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Bass Trombone, Tuba, Percussion, Piano and Harp.

Audition Requirements 
• Audition with a solo selection of choice (3-5 minutes) 
• Sight-reading 
• No need to dress up
