National Theatre of London production today
Winner of 7 Olivier Awards (including Best New Play), this adaptation by Simon Stephens of Mark Haddon's best-selling novel was a runaway hit noted for its unique and innovative set design. The play follows fifteen-year old Christopher who has an extraordinary brain -- one that excels in math but is ill-equipped for everyday life. When he's accused of killing the neighbors' dog, Christopher puts his mind in gear to solve the murder mystery, although his detective work is forbidden by his own father.
Performances are captured live and presented in beautiful 2K Digital Cinema Projection that gives audiences a front-row seat. The play lasts just under three hours and includes an intermission.
