Summer Time Salad

Have you heard about Anselmo's Kitchen? It's a new sald delivery service in Coconut Grove.

Chef Anselmo Garcia, has over 30 years experience in the food business, he's worked in different restaurants in South Florida and also in the Northeast. He cooked for President Obama when he visited Miami in 2014.

Maria Fischer, Anselmo's sister, who many of you know from Gardner's Market is working with her brother. She has owned restaurants in New York. She has a passion for cooking and baking. 

Their build-your-own-salad concept is coming soon, but right now they offer a great lineup of their own recipes like the Summer Time Salad (Baby arugula,cherry tomatoes, local red onions, roasted spicy walnuts, potato chips, goat cheese and vinegar dressing compote for $7.50). 

There is the Hello Dolly Salad (Fresh tomatoes, ham, prosciutto, sun dry tomato,local basil, fresh mozzarella and extra virgin olive oil for $8.50)

Sentimental Salad

And the Smooth Salad (Mixed green salad, sliced almonds, goat cheese crumbles, wine tomato, crostini and extra virgin olive oil with champagne vinegar dressing for $7.50)

And there are many more.  All of these salads can be prepared as wraps.

Add-ons include turkey, chicken, smoked salmon, eggs, prosciutto, jalapenos, hearts of palm, cilantro, basil, green and red peppers,  and more. And there is a soup of the day.
