PAMM in the Neighborhood benefits local charity

Join the Perez Art Museum Miami and Bank of America at The Barnyard (Coconut Grove Cares) for PAMM in the Neighborhood on Monday, June 30. This is a summer-long program that brings art experiences and education beyond the museum’s walls to more than 7,000 low and middle income youth at camps and community centers throughout Miami-Dade County from June through August.

On Monday, Bank of America volunteers and PAMM Teaching Artists will be working with the children on art projects and teaching them about modern and contemporary art.

From 10 am until noon, the program will center around the theme of “Fine Lines." Students are taught art concepts and then encouraged to explore artistically using materials provided free of charge, including a kit to take home and continue creating throughout the summer and into the school year. Children participating this summer will be the first to experience the museum’s new downtown Miami location.
