It was a scene out of yesterday

I saw this great scene the other morning, I was coming from the gym, heading to the Bookstore for breakfast and as I passed through the Atrium, there was a young kid, about 8 years old or so, reading the newspaper. That isn't something you see every day.

He had the actual Miami Herald spread out on a bench and he was reading the sections one at a time. He didn't have an ipad, iPhone or ipod. He was i-less.

I assumed he was waiting for a parent who might have been in the Regus office center, since it was the bench right outside their door and he was alone, which is what made the whole scene special. To see the kid alone, enveloped in the newspaper was really something, especially for us old-fashioned printed newspaper lovers.
