Health Fair at Virrick Park
Please join State Rep. José Javier Rodríguez at Virrick Park on Saturday, April 12, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm for a health fair and open house. He is hosting this community event along with our Florida Department of Health.
The purpose of the health fair is to provide health-related information to the community. Soil contamination in our parks raises many health-related questions for residents.
A developmental pediatrician, the director of the Poison Control Center and other experts and healthcare providers will be on hand to answer questions one-on-one. In addition a series of brief presentations will be made throughout the fair about health and soil contamination. You'll also receive important tips on a variety of other healthcare topics including cancer screening.
