Free community leadership forum set for next weekend
Are you interested in developing the leadership skills used to serve as an agent of change within your community? If so, then please join this free two-day forum facilitated by local leaders and professionals.
Curriculum materials, lunch and refreshments will be provided. Topics include: Characteristics of a leader, Community organizing, Effective communication skills, Outreach and marketing.
By attending both days of the forum you’ll build, understand, and enhance connections between yourself and other attendees. Learn how leadership and community engagement can benefit you and your community. Connect with and learn about strategies, resources, and best practices from professionals in the nonprofit, private, and government sectors
Attendees will receive a certificate upon completion of both workshop days.
The forum is at the Frankie Shannon Rolle Center, 3750 South Dixie Highway.
