St. Stephen's Arts Show poster unveiled
"Sunset
on the Past" by Eric Clay is this year's St. Stephen's Art Show poster. It depicts a sense of time and a sense of change. The
structure seen here is a jetty that was built in the 1950s for erosion control. This is the art show's 25th year. The poster was unveiled at a party on Thursday night at St. Stephen's.
"In
a way this jetty represents a choice that we all have to make in our lives," said Eric. "We can stand rigid against the tides of change or we can
go with the flow; adapt. It is important to remember this when deciding how we
will live our lives and the legacy that we will leave."
The art show is next weekend, February 15 through 17, at St Stephens, a part of the annual grove Arts Fest
Weekend.

Such a beautiful photograph
Nice image if it were not representing our community.
Looks like Coconut Grove has been through the apocalypse, a tsunami or that we are so broke we can't afford to repair our infrastructure. Perhaps they can get Jorge Perez to donate funds to repair the pier or dock and he can get the naming rights.
I agree anon 4:43, beautiful sunset, but overpower by this rank so called jetty; if this a jetty my name is Elmer P Suggins from Tupilo, Ms.
LOL ... I guess those "same" five complainers in the Grove have something to say about everything ... It really is amazing.
And welcomed # 6! That was a complaint you made, was it not?
