Four days of holistic entertainment; 50 plus bands

Zen Village is part of this year's Virginia Key GrassRoots Festival, which is February 20 to 23. Zen Village will hoost the Healing Arts Area, Tea House, daily movement and wellness workshops, and services offered by healers of a variety of modalities, all set in a nice shaded grove along the water.

Each day of the Festival, The Zen Village and Tea House host Tea Ceremonies, incense and prayer offering, blessing puja, personal prayer beading, Chinese high tea, and protection puja. Throughout the weekend they also host a variety of special events including meditation for beginners, healing drumming, Zen living workshop, and Dr. Love QiGong workshop. Their Zen Tea Ceremonies are hosted by Master Chufei Tsai, who has three decades of tea experience in educating people on using their five senses to bring peace and openness to one's life.

The 3rd Annual Virginia Key GrassRoots Festival of Music, Art & Dance presents 4-Days of holistic entertainment to engage all of the senses. It's presented as a "lifestyle festival," in addition to a solid musical foundation of over 50 bands from around the world, on Virginia Key Beach.

An abundance of Yoga and other movement workshops also take place each day. Highlights include MC Yogi Workshop, Vinyasa Yoga, Tibetan Healing Yoga, Tai Chi, Tensegrity, Vinyasa Yoga with Afrobeta, Laughter Yoga, Hooping Workshops, Dance for Universal Peace and Morning group meditation practice. Most workshops take place in the spacious 10,000 square foot wooden floored Dance Tent along the ocean.

Hip-Hop modern mystic MC Yogi joins Latin Grammy Award-winning Afro-Colombian group ChocQuibTown, Zimbabwe's national treasure and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Oliver Mtukudzi, the most awarded Bluegrass legend of all time Del McCoury, Latin Grammy Award-winning Best New Artist Sie7e, Trail-Blazing Americana mainstay Donna the Buffalo, current Reggae chart toppers John Brown's Body, plus tons of hometown heavy-hitters like Spam All-Stars, Locos Por Juana, Suenalo, and Elastic Bond. Over 70 performances scheduled ranging in genre from Cajun to Electronic, Roots Rock, Latin Pop, Country, Hip-Hop and beyond!

Environmental sustainability and ecological preservation are also central elements of the Festival.
