"Bike Jazz," something new at Gifford Lane Art Stroll

There's a new and quite unique musical act at this year's Gifford Lane Art Stroll, on Sunday, March 2. It's called "Bike Jazz," featuring Rich Leon, a Miami native. Rich, a former GE power systems engineer and corporate IT instructor, is now happily “retired” from the Wall Street phantom-wealth casino economy – currently earning a living as an independent Math and Science coach/mentor/tutor, jazz guitarist, and woodcrafter who feels the need to spread the word about the encouraging global growth in everyday bicycling and its culture of health, happiness, wisdom, and wonder.

"Bike Jazz" is what happens when the picante rhythmic jazz guitarist adds his own special “hot sauce” to classic songs about health, happiness, wisdom, and wonder - the a quality-over-quantity quartet of the emerging bike culture.  The music is smooth yet spicy. Sometimes sweet. Never sour.

The Gifford Lane Art Stroll is noon to 5 pm on Sunday, March 2, on Gifford Lane, between Oak Avenue and Day Avenue.

And if you want a little taste of Rich's music, he is usually playing at the Grove Green Market on Thursdays, which is next to the Playhouse from 2 to 8 pm.
