Art for All, Art for Auction
Shake-A-Leg Miami (SALM) will be hosting Art for All, Art for Auction, a special fund-raising event, Sunday, February 16, beginning at 7 pm. Rub elbows with the creators of those show-stopping, jaw-dropping, singular works of art you see at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, and try your luck at bidding on them. The evening’s dinner and awards ceremony will feature a carefully-curated auction with creations by the Festival’s artists, as well as a commemoration honoring Coconut Grove’s very own, Monty Trainer. More than 500 people are expected to take part.
SALM will be docking a booth at the festival February 15-17. This year’s theme, All for Art and Art for All, showcases the works of 380 of the finest artists and craftsmen in the world. Visitors will be able to mingle with exhibiting artists, sample fine cuisine, enjoy live entertainment, and take in the tropical waterfront views of Coconut Grove.
