Lots of interest in the bicycle tours

There were 40 bicyclists at Saturday's Enchanted Bike Tour through Coconut Grove. Urban Naturalist Frank W. Schena was the guide, but there were lots of knowledgeable bikers along for the ride, who were able to add a lot to the historical stories of the Grove.

Trees, flowers, architecture and of course lots of history and nostalgia were part of the morning ride.

The next ride is February 8 and will be every second Saturday for the next nine months. This event is sponsored by the Coconut Grove BID. Please RSVP at: royalpalmtoursofmiami.com

Not everything was Grove history, one of the newest businesses in the Grove was featured when the group stopped at the new Starbucks at Monty's for some refreshments.
