New Police Substation approved for Grove
A new Police sub-station has been approved for Village West. Starting in January, at 3727 Grand Avenue, will be the new police outpost. The station has been funded for two years, hopefully to be renewed after that.

Do you think it will increase response time? Hope so. On Friday there was a car accident on Bird Road and they were there for at least 2 hours before anyone showed up yet the Police were down the street in front of Flannigan's chit chatting.
Take away their cars. Look now there is a substation right in the grove, so officers assigned to the grove should patrol on foot, on bikes, or segways, I don't care, just get them out of those cars.
Cops in cars don't pay attention, and just find a shady spot to sit. Get them out and interacting.
For the record, I've even seem them on facebook on their little in-car laptops.
How about u grove resident say thank you to the officers instead complaining all the dam time.
