18 speakers/performers part of TEDxCoconut Grove
TEDxCoconutGrove returns to the Lewis Family Auditorium at Ransom Everglades School on February 7, 2014 at 1 pm. Another outstanding program of 18 speakers and performances includes NBC-6 Chief Meteorologist John Morales, author and MacArthur Genius Grant winner Edwidge Danticat, Just Ask Boo founder Boo Zamek, economist Charlie Wheelan, Terra Group President David Martin, “So You Think You Can Dance” winner Jeanine Mason, poet Campbell McGrath, and many others.
TEDxCoconutGrove is very proud that two speakers, John and Thomas D’Eri and Hillit Meidar-Alfi, were recently featured in the Neighbors and Indulge Magazine sections of the Miami Herald, respectively.
Partnering with TEDxCoconutGrove this year are twelve local restaurants and caterers for the “Tasting Village sponsored by Merrill Lynch.” Tickets are $50 for adults and $10 for students; access to all four sessions and to the Tasting Village is included in the price of the ticket.
