Saving Brickell's historic tree canopy
When are neighbors; voters, going to be heard in this city? When are elected officials going to realize they work for the voters?
There is a petition, just started that asks the Mayor and others to hold a public hearing on the project.
Neighbors feel that Brickell is an historic street and the huge canopy of trees are part of that history. Replacing the trees only lines a few pockets, nothing more.
Neighbors only found out about the project after the massacre started, they were not informed beforehand.

The politicians will start behaving when they realize that the citizens are really fed up, an just not running their mouths.
It's time to send that message: RECALL SARNOFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agreed. Should have done it before the Grove waterfront fleecing. Win or lose it is the only thing that will get his attention.
Miami politicians don't give a damn about petitions. Trees are being cut to allow digging infrastructure for mega projects in downtown.
If the mayor doesn't care for living breathing animals - why would he give two hoots in hell for plants?
