Return the Village Council to City Hall
Mayor Regalado told me personally, the night he was sworn into office in 2009, that the Village Council was "thrown out" to allow more room for other homeowner groups. He said that he wanted to give everyone a chance to be on tv and share their meetings.
Two things that are wrong with this:
1) I know it was not he who threw the Village Council out and he was just thrown under the bus in this case and accepted that.
2) Not many condos and homeowner groups want to share their private meetings with the city or anyone else with cable tv or internet.
So far, not one group has used the chambers since November 2009, when the Village Council was thrown out. Let them back, they use the chambers and it helps the community by having them in City Hall.

What specific benefits have the CGVC actually provided Coconut Grove in the past several years?
Personal insults to our elected leaders is not much of an accomplishment or benefit to our community.
Being on TV is no guarantee of relevance.
i.e. Jersey Shore, Real Housewives of Miami, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Fear Factor, Cheaters, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Swamp People, Duck Dynasty, etc.
