Nature's Plate burger featured at LoKal

LoKal will be offering the Nature’s Plate burger for a limited time in honor of them being named the greenest and most sustainable restaurant in Miami by the Nature’s Conservancy. LoKal’s talented chefs have created this burger made with locally sourced ingredients including grass-fed beef from Florida Fresh Meat Company in Ocala, portabella mushrooms from Central Florida, local avocados, rooftop arugula, red onions, jack cheese, and LoKal’s homemade sauce. 

The Nature’s Conservancy will present the Nature’s Plate Award to owner Matt Kuscher the restaurant on Tuesday, November 19 at 11 am, and the special burger will be featured on their menu from November 17-20.

“We try to do everything to raise awareness like buying clean energy, composting all our waste, buying everything local, making art out of trash,” said Matt Kuscher, owner of LoKal. “It makes us feel so proud that Miami realizes we are much more than a burger joint but instead a casual farm-to-table concept trying to do the right thing for our environment.”

Local is located at 3190 Commodore Plaza.
