Miami Short Film Festival coming to town
Over 80 films from around the world, representing 39 countries will be shown at the Paragon Grove 13 at CocoWalk, which is the main venue and also the Miami Beach Cinematheque (1130 Washington Avenue). There will be five cocktail receptions, red carpet premiers and seminars and workshops at both locations.
Nightly, there will be Q&A sessions with visiting directors and they will have an Oscar-style awards ceremony along with a closing night gala.
Over 3000 people are estimated to be attending plus over 300 industry and film professionals.
Tickets for the films are $12 each and they are limited as the venues can only hold a certain amount, in many instances only 99 tickets will be available for a movie.
