Viewing Vizcaya; movie night at the estate

Vizcaya will be showing the silent movie, "Why Change Your Wife," on their next movie night, Wednesday, September 25. The 1920 movie, directed by Cecil B. DeMille, starts Gloria Swanson, Thomas Meighan and Bebe Daniels.

Robert and Beth Gordon are married but share little. He runs into Sally at a cabaret and the Gordons are soon divorced. Just as he gets bored with Sally's superficiality, Beth strives to improve her looks. The original couple falls in love again at a summer resort.

Follow in the footsteps of Vizcaya's original owner, James Deering, and his guests by enjoying a historic silent film in the Courtyard of the Main House, complete with live musical accompaniment on Vizcaya's custom-made pipe organ.

The movie starts at 7 pm

Tickets $18; available onsite only from 6:00-7:30 pm on the evening of the program.

Food and drink available for purchase. Seating is limited. Event takes place indoors.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, a National Historic Landmark and European-inspired estate on Biscayne Bay, is located at 3251 South Miami Avenue. For more information, go to www.vizcaya.org or call 305-250-9133.
