Saying farewell to Burn Notice

Tonight the final first run episode of Burn Notice will be shown on the USA network at 9 pm. It is the end of their seven year run. It will probably play in re-runs forever and a small time in Coconut Grove's history will always be captured and seen, but as for the actors, crew, staff, et al, that's it. A major character is going to be killed off in tonight's episode, the 111th episode.

The My Center Grove Neighborhood M & M (meet and mingle) group is inviting neighbors tonight to stop by Timo's to watch the finale on a large screen tv. There will be free appetizers and happy hour prices on drinks and food from 8:30 to 11 pm.

Timo's at Villa Mayfair is located at 2901 Florida Avenue.

Burn Notice was a fun show. The scenery and people were attractive, the adventure was fun and never too heavy. The characters and the actors who played them could not have been better.

Thank you to everyone involved in such a wonderful series.

Burn Notice was and is fantastic. May the re-runs go on for 20 years. Miami could use the good publicity.
