1st View/2nd Friday at Bakehouse Complex

In a collaboration between the Bakehouse Art Complex and La Petite, selected artists from both organizations will be featured in the next exhibition on view at the Bakehouse Art Complex. It explores the connection between Miami and Mexico, both tropical and Latin centric cultures. 1st View/2nd Friday previews two exhibits. The opening is tonight, Friday, September 13 from 7 to 10 pm

In Oneiric: Beyond Consciousness, visual artists will explore how dreams can be portrayed and represented in their works, using the Oneiric theory usually applied to the motion pictures. (On view in Audrey Love Gallery). In Behind the Scenes you will be taken inside the artists' creation process by highlighting the tools used in developing their pieces. The tools and materials behind the finished artwork will be shown as works of art in their own right. Both exhibits on view through October 2.
