Trolley talk comes up again
One other thing that came up at the meeting the other night were the Trolleys. People want the city trolleys to come through Coconut Grove.
We have been given so many excuses of why they cannot pass through Coconut Grove, the latest one, told to the neighbors at the meeting the other night is that if a trolley comes through the Grove, then county bus service will stop since it's one or the other.
I never heard this before, but I wonder if we had a vote if people would choose the trolley over the county buses. But again, I don't believe that to be a fact. I think they are two separate operations and one has nothing to do with the other. I could be wrong.

Sounds like BS to me since the county buses still run the same routes the trolleys do..
that's ridiculous. In Brickell, there's the metro mover, trolley, and bus stops at ever corner. Why can all 3 be there, but not 2 in the grove? Sounds like a lame excuse.
well i think most trollys offer service where a larger busses don't go or had neglected. but i think a trolly is much better then the metro bus that comes through here now, at the end of the day its just an aesthetics thing. We do have a bus for a quarter. I do believe we should gain and demand use from the trolly services , due to the fact that they are building a garage for them in our backyard.
