Sports art featured at McCall Gallery

Our own Erika King is having an artist reception a the Williams McCall Gallery along with the work of sports illustrator Larry Johnson. Both will be presented tonight, Saturday, May 11 from 6 to 9 pm.

Erika is known for her collages of the Miami Heat and other Miami-based collages.

This event is very special to me since I am a friend of Erika's and Larry is a man after my own heart having been the editorial sports cartoonist for The Boston Globe, The National Sports Daily, ESPN's Quickie page and other publications for over 30 years.

The exhibition will be on view through May 25. The artists' reception is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
