The new sidewalk fix

The county has taken over the sidewalk fix. This is their solution. Guess the roots won't come up that way. But it smells and is ugly. I prefer the roots.

I think I also prefer the other way, removing the trees and fixing the bricks. I mean I would prefer not to have the trees removed, but this band aid just ain't right.

F. said...: WOW! Are you serious or did you just photoshop that?! That is horrendous! Are they trying to make the sidewalk look like some of the stores and bars around the grove which are in a dying need for some renovations.....; April 11, 2013 11:44 AM

the repaving of florida ave was INSANELY slow. like 8 months to do 2 blocks of barely trafficked street. when they re-do main/grand I can only imagine how slow they will do it.; April 11, 2013 11:42 PM
