Joel and Victoria Osteen visit Coconut Grove

Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado and City Commissioners was joined by City of Doral Mayor Luigi Boria in presenting keys to both cities to Pastors Joel and Victoria Osteen at Coconut Grove's Shake-A-Leg, today. The Osteens are in Miami for America’s Night of Hope event on Saturday, April 20, at Marlins Stadium. Above, Harry Horgan, of Shake-A-Lake, introduces the Osteens.

“Victoria and I love the people of Miami and we are happy to be back” said Pastor Joel Osteen. “We are especially honored to receive the key to the City of Miami from Mayor Regalado and the City of Doral from Mayor Boria.”   

Pastors Joel and Victoria Osteen’s appeal is universal and allows them to crossover to audiences that are diverse racially, politically and socioeconomically, attracting millions to the Night of Hope events since 2004. During the two days prior to “Americans Night of Hope” event, Generation Hope Project  will bring together young adults who are passionate about making a positive impact.  Generation Hope Project seeks to change the circumstances of despair and disappointment through acts of kindness and compassion.

“The City of Miami is very grateful to Victoria and Joel Osteen for Generation Project Hope and the help they are providing to our community” stated Mayor Regalado.
