Affair En Plein Air art event at Deering Estate
The GroveHouse Artists and the Deering Estate at Cutler are hosting a two-day juried outdoor art event this weekend. Artists will be working throughout the estate on Saturday, April 20, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and Sunday, April 21, 10 am – 1 pm. Judging will take place on Sunday at 1:30 pm in the Carriage House.
Prizes will be awared to students at the completion of the judging. Adult artists will be judged onsite and then awarded at the exhibit opening on June 19, 2013. The exhibit opening on June 19 is free and open to the public.
Winners can exhibit their work as part of the 2013 Summer Art Exhibit to be held in the Richmond Cottage at the Deering Estate at Cutler from May 24 - July 26, 2013. The exhibit is free with Estate admission: $12 for adults and $7 for children (ages 4-14).
