It really was "Full Color" at Boswell Mourot Gallery

The Boswell Mourot Fine Art Gallery on Commodore Plaza has a very imposing presence as you enter the large space on Commodore Plaza, but it's a comfortable place, as it is staffed by friends who make you feel welcome the second you enter.

Saturday's Gallery Walk was very enjoyable, a lot of the gallery's friends were in town from Little Rock, Arkansas, where they have quite a lively art scene. The Boswell Mourot Gallery has a sister gallery there. Above, from left: Kyle Boswell, Teresa Sorrentino, Coco, Jon Mourot.

Grove artist Hans Feyerabend's art was featured along with Robin Hazard-Bishop, as part of the exhibit called, "Full Color," which really fit the show because that is what you saw as you entered the gallery -- full color. It really struck you as being so colorful! Speaking of colorful, I was reminding Hans of just the opposite, of the time I walked into the Windisch-Hunt Gallery and found him painting one of the walls black. He had a paint roller and was literally painting the wall. I was appalled at such an accomplished artist doing that, but Hans said it was all in a day's work. He'll do wall painting if needed, along with fine arts painting. He was doing it as a favor for Anna Maria at the gallery, he wasn't painting the wall for pay.

Artist Robin Hazard-Bishop, Teresa Sorrentino, Phoebe Webb.

Coco, Katrina Boler, Kyle Boswell.

The gallery is located at 3162 Commodore Plaza.  For hours and info: 305.528.4971
