False alarm?

You're not supposed to yell, "Fire!" in a crowded theater and maybe not have fireworks and sparklers at a birthday party at a restaurant! But this is funny.

On Saturday night, the fire department showed up at Georges in the Grove, but it was a false alarm! The restaurant was just doing their usual Happy Birthday thing with the sparklers and disco lights, you know, how they do.

I don't know if someone called the fire department or they were just passing by, but they did show up with the sirens and lights going and of course, Georges had their sirens and lights going and in this case, Georges won out as there was no fire, only a wild birthday party.

I joked to a friend that we were the first on site when the fire truck showed up. I had my camera at the ready to catch the scene.

False alarm? Yes.
