Celebrate the Commodore's 162nd birthday!

Join The Barnacle Society and The Barnacle Historic State Park as they commemorate the 162nd birthday of Ralph Middleton Munroe, Coconut Grove pioneer and founder of the Biscayne Bay Yacht Club. The Commodore's Birthday is Sunday, April 7 from 6 to 9 pm.

A delicious meal by The Rumcake Factory and music by Solar Dogs will be provided on the grounds of The Barnacle, Commodore Munroe’s homestead in Coconut Grove.

Tickets purchased by April 2 are $40 for members of The Barnacle Society, $45 for non-members, and $10 for children ages 10 and under. At the gate, tickets are $55. To RSVP please visit www.TheBarnacle.org or call 305-442-6866.



This is an official event of Dade Heritage Days, a celebration of Miami-Dade’s historic places. It is sponsored by The Barnacle Society, Inc., a volunteer non-profit, citizen-supported organization created to generate public awareness, education, and financial support for the preservation and maintenance of The Barnacle Historic State Park. The Barnacle, located at 3485 Main Highway, is a Florida State Park administered by the Department of Environmental Protection.
