A tribute to a good friend

I ran into Gwen Taylor-Grayson at the St. Stephen's art poster unveiling the other night. She had on sunglasses at night (you know, like the song) and there was a tag hanging from the glasses.

It turns out, she did this in honor of Butch "Beamer" Sterling. You all may remember him from the old Taurus.

The St. Stephen's Art Show was Beamer's favorite event in the Grove, he looked forward to it every year. His memorial was also at St. Stephen's and he worshiped there, so it was only natural for Gwen to pay tribute to Beamer by wearing his sunglasses at the poster unveiling party. The tag explained what the glasses were all about.
