Pumpkin Patch Festival coming to Peacock Park

Fall is in the air and to add to the season, Coconut Grove is getting its first Pumpkin Patch! The Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival is coming to Peacock Park (2820 McFarlane Road) on September 29 and 30.

The Pumpkin Patch Festival, from 10 am to 6 pm, both days, will feature a variety of fun activities for the whole family, including a true pumpkin patch in the center of all the action with more than 2,000 pumpkins. Plus, kids will enjoy the hay maze, kids fun zone with rides and inflatable attractions, a dress-your-own scarecrow village, and on-going shows on the main stage.

Adults will be thrilled with all the activities planned, including the opportunity to decorate pumpkins right on-site, as well as shop from more than 20 family-friendly vendors.

“We are absolutely thrilled to bring this new and exciting event to the community,” said Vanessa Goodis, event director. “As a South Florida native, I never got to enjoy the seasons, and this event will create long-lasting memories for all our families that partake in what we’re calling a wonderFALL celebration of the season!”

In addition to all entertainment and attractions, make sure to come hungry as there will be a Foodie Feast area serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout the day. And don’t worry about bringing a camera; they’ll have a professional photography station set up at the Pumpkin Patch to capture memories of your fun-filled day with the entire family.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
