Rev up your beds, it's time for the Bed Race!
Now that Isaac is out of the way, we can have our Great Grove Bed Race this coming weekend. The weekend starts with the Pajama Pub Crawl on Saturday night, then Sunday is race day. The Barnacle is holding a family movie night after the races, too.
The track will be on Grand Avenue as usual, there was talk of changing it around a bit, but Grand seems to be the best place for the race. It's between the post office area and the Sandbar. The Junior Chamber's Easter Seals Toy Drive and Children's Hopsital are beneficiaries of this year's Race
There are quite a few new teams this year. Just last week, the Obama campain office won The Grove Spot bed, which won the two past races, the Grove Spot runners wanted something new to race this year, so they'll be building a new bed.

Beds will line up starting at noon. At one end of Grand Avenue.
1 pm - Pit Row Parade & Judging
2 pm - Races start!
3-11 pm - Cudapalooza Block Party, Fuller Street
5 pm - Finals & Awards on main stage on Grand Avenue
7 pm - Up Past Bedtime Movie (Barnacle State Park)
