Montessori school issue is off the July agenda

The Planning and Zoning Department has recommended a continuance for the hearing scheduled next week (July 18) regarding the Montessori school proposal in the North Grove. Tucker Gibbs, attorney for the Natoma Manors Homeowners Association has not spoken to the Department yet, but Tony Rocio, the attorney, for the school, believes it is because the City is reviewing the traffic study.

Tucker is in the process of obtaining that study in order to evaluate the need to provide the neighbors' own assessments of traffic if necessary. This is a good thing in my eyes, because usually so many things are swept under the rug in this City in the middle of summer when many people are away. The Planning Department is probably not meeting in August, so this will be pushed to the September agenda.
