Trolley dreaming
I saw this City of Miami Trolley near Perricone's the other day and thought it would be so cool if we had the trolleys come into the Grove. They go all over the rest of the City it seems but the hit 25th Road at S. Miami Avenue, and they turn down to Brickell Avenue and go back up Brickell toward downtown and midtown.
They should go the extra few miles and drop people at Vizcaya and the Science Museum and then continue into the Center Grove. Some of the trolleys go to the new Marlins Park. Imagine hopping on the trolley in the Center Grove and then taking it up 17th Avenue directly to the stadium! Imagine hopping on the trolley one Saturday night and taking it to the Wynwood Gallery Walk or even to Target in midtown.
The trolleys are free to ride. I wonder if the taxes that we Grovites pay as part of the City of Miami help pay for this whole trolley shebang. And if they do, then we need to be part of the trolley system.

This is so important. As you know I think we needs this ASAP. It connects everyone in the City and there is no reason the Grove is being left out. I have written to everyone in our government requesting the Grove be added to the trolley routes. It will bring more people in the Grove and will allow Groveites an easy way to access other areas of our City. No one can give a good reason why we are not part of this. The Gable's Trolley connects with Douglas Station, we are connected with nothing right now! Let's make this happen it will be a win win for everyone! Hopefully the new BID Director can assist to make this a reality.
Give It Baaaaack!!!!
You'd ride the bus to target?
So you think a free trolley going through grand avenue would be smart?
I think a Trolley connecting Brickell and the Grove would help the Grove A LOT!!!!!
Do the Trolleys have a bike rack on the front like city buses?
