Come out and have a Taste of the Grove today!
The Great Taste of the Grove is going on in full force. Peacock Park is full of happy hungry people. Monica Chaviano and Andres Lemos, from the Grove Chamber, are having a ball. Music is playing, drinks are flowing, the kiddies are on the rides, the food judges are judging and the VIP area is buzzing.
Siri is grilling up a storm at the Atchana's East/West Kitchen booth, that's Atchana in the background doing prep. And speaking of storm, there is none, it's breezy and delightful out along the bay today.
All sorts of restaurants are serving up their best. Come on out and try it. Looks delish, doesn't it? I've volunteered at various booths over the years, but this year, I'm just taking it all in, literally, yummy.
Ryan Stone Music took to the stage early and the music is live on the main stage all day, till 7 pm tonight and then it will be all done over again tomorrow, Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm.
Lots of booze booths and lots of goodies for the family await you. The cost is only $5 per person to enter the park. There are a lot of tents, it's all tented actually (except for the kiddie rides), and the tents all connect to each other, so come out, enjoy! More details at www.thegreattasteofthegrove.com
