Police hold rollcall right in the center of town

Our new photographer, Ari Romer, did an excellent job of capturing the police in the center of town yesterday. At 1 pm sharp, a formation appeared for rollcall, right out in front of Coldwell Banker.


Crime is down a lot in Coconut Grove this year thanks to the City of Miami Police and our local Neighborhood Resource Officers. Commander Richard Gentry and his group are doing an excellent job. Crime was down almost 37% compared to last month.


"I stand by my staff for their unselfish efforts and professionalism. I thank all of them for an outstanding job," said Commander Gentry. He went on to say that teamwork is the key ot success, the non-emergency number is 305-579-6111 which should be used if you see any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area.
