A thrill after lunch
A friend and I went to lunch last week, he rode his bike into the Center Grove from his house a few blocks away. He locked it up and we went into the restaurant.
He was thrilled when we came out after lunch and his bike was still there, locked up at the bike rack. It's a thrill these days to see your bike where you left it in Coconut Grove, home to constant bicycle thefts.
I am sure the police know what they are doing, but my friend suggested that they lock up a couple of decoy bikes around town with sensors or tracking devices and then when the bikes are stolen, and they will be, they could track down the thieves.

I was just locking up my bike this morning in front of the gym (24HR) and some guy told me he had two bikes stolen already from the same bike rack in the middle of the day! Needless to say, the whole time I was working out I was worrying about my bike! And it's funny you mention the decoy, cause I was just thinking the same exact thing today! You read my mind Tom!
Excellent suggestion.
