Gran Fondo bicycle race comes to town

The Gran Fondo bicycle event passed through part of the Grove on Sunday. Above from left are Lily Tapia from Miami, Dennis Phipps from Team Werx Miami and Andre Willins from the British Virgin Islands.

Over 1300 riders enjoyed the race, which started in Coral Gables and ended at City Hall, right here in Coconut Grove, where a little biker village was set up.
