Revisiting the 1960s at Pan Am Family Reunion
Last weekend hundreds of former Pan Am Airline employees descended on Coconut Grove for a "family reunion." The big event was Saturday night at the Hanger Party which was at Shake-A-Leg in one of the actual Coast Guard hangers. That's Ken Drodvillo with one of the stewardesses from days past.
The Pan Am family had a chance to mingle, enjoy great food and cool drinks along with stunning visuals from Pan Am's history. They danced to music from the 1960s. It was a very nostalgic night and a nice stroll down memory lane for so many.
The group enjoyed seeing City Hall, the old Pan Am hanger, during the weekend and they toured the Coconut Grove area that Pan Am once called one.
The Mutiny and Marriott Courtyard was ground zero for the Pan Am family over the weekend, with lots of partying and reminiscing going on.
