He's getting back to his passion -- photography
In between the rain drops, the Mad Hatter Festival has been going on. Today is the second day of the two day event. The main area of artists are inside The Barnacle grounds on the great lawn, but there are plenty of artists up and down the street, on the sidwalks surrounding the area.
Larry Shane is presenting his photography this year. Larry has always been a favorit of mine, not just because he has a great eye for color and composition, but he captures subjects that hit close to home. His photos almost look like giant postcards.
Larry has images of the Orange Bowl, the Freedom Tower, causeways to Miami Beach and so many more South Florida and Miami landmarks. He has traveled extensively and has many photos that reflect that, too. You'll find lots of colorful flowers, too.
"Photography is my passion," says Larry. Ever since he's been a child, photography has interested him, but as is usually the case, life takes you in other directions and away from your passion. But Larry is back in a big way. His work is on display today and of course all the images are for sale. Stop by The Barnacle for the Mad Hatter Festival today from 10 to 6 pm and check out Larry's work and all the other great featured artists.
