Hallowpalooza is this Saturday; party for a cause

The Third Annual Hallowpalooza is this Saturday, October 29.

Hallowpalooza was started three years ago when Otto, Irene and Lucy wanted to throw a Halloween party. While planning the event they figured that it was a perfect opportunity to combine fun and a way to spread awareness on different charities that are close to their hearts. So here they are three years later passing on the word that: They’re Not Just a Party, They’re a Party With a Cause.

They chose the Shake-A-Leg Miami organization to donate the proceeds to this year because this past January Lucy's cousin Woody Beckham suffered a spinal cord injury while playing rugby. This accident has left him paralyzed from the chest down. This injury in no way shape or form has stopped The Woodman from being the amazing young man that he is and who he aspires to be. He is spreading awareness everywhere he goes and wants to give back to his new community.

Shake-A-Leg Miami is a local organization that uses the marine environment to improve the health, education, independence and quality of life for all with an emphasis on individuals with physical, developmental and economic challenges.

Have any questions or just want to know more about Shake-A-Leg Miami email Lucy at
lucy.foerster@gmail.com. If you would like to make a donation and can't attend she would be more than happy to let you know how to do so.

Hallowpalooza is at 2985 Aviation Avenue, from 9 pm to midnight, donation is which includes open bar, live (as opposed to dead) DJ (but it's Halloween, so you never know) and a costume party with great prizes.
